Car Render Challenge 2018 - Jamie Lord

So I have been thinking about this competition a lot over the weekend and at work. One of the things that is causing me problems is that I don't think that my final "idea" will be original, it would be a boring story. When I competed in the survival car challenge, I spent time looking for inspiration and went with the first idea I had. When I read the interview with the winner, Federico Ciuffolini, his words was that it was important to spend time thinking about your idea most of all.

I think that now I have a better concept in my head. It is out of my comfort zone and is something that I have not done before. Unfortunately I think to tell the story better I will need to chose a new car.

Alright guys - I've managed to select the car that will fit the idea in my head - just a case of modelling it now 😀 

It's been a busy few days for me recently so I havent had much spare time to put into this as I would like but its starting to take shape - slowly slowly 🙂 

Another very busy week for me, so not too much progress but working on the little details 🙂

I try to keep my topology as neat as possible and only quads 🙂 

Some additional details - nothing too major but it all counts - I hope I can push on with the model a bit more this week as "phase 2" will be time consuming, all will be revealed soon 🙂 

Most of the exterior done - Just got to work on the interior and a few final details on the exterior too 🙂
