Car Render Challenge 2019: ZarooQ sandracer 500GT

Hi guys,

I've begun the basic mesh building process. I'm using edge modeling technique for the most part but I'll also be using box modeling method for simple parts.

Due to lack of good reference models, I've decided to use only my peripheral vision to calculate the positions and create the model. It'll not be easy but hey, that's part of the fun.

So here's a first look at my work.

Some more progress. I feel quite confident that I can finish the body within no time.

This process is taking me quite some time but hopefully I can get it on track faster.

Just finished a portion of the bonnet and front bumpers. Still a long way to go.

Been away for a while and had to stop my work. But now i'm back. Here's a little more progress.

My car is complete and ready for scene. Here's a look at the full car model without textures.

I decided to go for a metallic black finish. Lights are looking dull though because I'll be adding them along with the full scene later.

Due to shortage of time I have made the environment simple. Car is parked on asphalt just beside a sidewalk. Here's an AO render.
