2023 Car Render Challenge - Lada Niva

Good morning! Another weekend, where I can spend some time in this scene...

Maintenance checkpoint added...

F1 in the morning, sleeping kids in the afternoon, some other help from the grandmother with my kids and I made some progress again just to realize I don't like that sci-fi-looking checkpoint  :/ I'll need to re-work that and fit it more into this scene somehow and incorporate it to the poles.
Also, another big structure is missing from the background, but I like the lighting now, so that is good...

@csicso3d thats coming along nicely. Maybe you could add some direct light being shot from the background. This woul dhad some lovley shadows from the car and scene items ont he ground. Keeping it subtle would work so well 🙂

I made some additions and small changes... now it's time to add some even more.

Phew that was an effective weekend... Finally, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Now I have to pay close attention to the car and add proper textures and materials.

This is probably my last update in this thread. Next step is "just" adding some more volume lights and dirt to the car...

I'm still not 100% sure I'll be done in time, but will do my best!
