It's been a very long day of texturing! Had a lot of fun and managed to complete the first draft of my van. I have took my textures from Quixel back into 3DS Max and I have done a couple of test renders so that I can take notes on any changes I need to make.
This is the current camera angle I have for the van showing off the main side that has been damaged. The van will be placed on a road with some run down housing behind it. I'm thinking I might make the glass more transparent, I also have to change some reflection settings for the door handles and the logo on the front. I will probably put more detail onto the bullet holes on the van, maybe add some more noticeable rust to them.
Feedback or advice is welcome!
A rear shot of the van, It became apparent that the blue strip along the white framing is a different hue to the main blue body so I will change that. I also need to paint over some seams on the rear bumper. The render won't show off the back part of the van but I guess it's good practice to fix these things!
Great idea and scene)
Hey guys, spent the last day or so trying to come up with a suitable environment for my van. I didn't think the one I was working on fit the look I was going for however I may use some assets if they work with what I'm going for.
Anyway here are some WIP shots, I spent a large part of the day creating a new ground texture. I may use one of the buildings as a backdrop and continue the grunge theme on the walls.
Any advice is welcome!

Had to do this WIP render in a small resolution just so I can pop it on here! I have changed the colour of the grass to match the trees and the vines on the wall. One of the final steps is to add vines onto the van itself. Due to other commitments I have to wrap up this project pretty quickly so I should be done in a couple of days!
