Important note about RAM: Get 2x32GB instead of 4x16GB. Leaves room for future upgrade and generally performs better. Also, PCIe 4.0 NVMe makes huge difference when working with large scenes.

Using V-Ray GPU? Go heavy on VRAM. Nothing worse than scene crashing mid-render because GPU ran out of memory. 12GB absolute minimum.

One thing nobody mentioned - get good cooling! These high-end CPUs run HOT. Good airflow case + quality AIO cooler is must. Those Alienware cases are basically hotboxes.
