What's the easiest 3D modeling software for a complete newbie?

I'm trying to get into 3D modeling but finding it pretty challenging. I gave Blender a try but honestly got frustrated with how complex it seems (maybe I gave up too soon?). I understand learning any 3D software will take time, but are there any programs specifically designed for beginners? Or are they all equally difficult to master? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

3D modeling is inherently a complex process no matter which software you use. All the major programs are built on the same fundamental concepts and mathematical principles - they just present different interfaces to interact with those concepts.

If you found Blender difficult, you'll likely find Maya or 3DS Max challenging too. It's not really about finding the "easiest" software since they all do basically the same things. The differences come down to workflow, UI preferences, and specific feature sets.

I found Blender's interface odd at first because I was used to Maya. But Blender is actually a great place to start - it's free, extremely powerful, and has tons of tutorials and community support. I'd recommend sticking with it a bit longer before jumping to something else.

Cinema 4D has been the most intuitive for me personally. As others have said, the underlying concepts are the same across all 3D software, but C4D's interface felt more approachable when I was starting out.

Have you tried TinkerCAD? It's browser-based and super simple to get started with. The interface is very straightforward for modeling basic objects. Great for beginners!

SketchUp might be worth checking out! It's free, works in a browser, and has a much more intuitive interface for beginners. I learned a lot about 3D space and modeling just by playing around in it before moving to more complex software.

3DS Max is the way to go if you can afford it. They have indie licenses now that are more affordable.

Wings 3D https://www.wings3d.com/ might be what you're looking for. It's designed to be used primarily with just a mouse, and most actions are accessible through right-click contextual menus. It has a much gentler learning curve than Blender.
